The room and hotel were great but I was charged a smoking fee even though I don't smoke and there definitely was not any smoking in the room. I didn't even use the kitchen or spend time in a place where smoking took place to give them any benefit of the doubt. Stay away as they're probably hoping you don't notice the charge on your credit card.

This was my first experience staying at a Sonesta and it was absolutely wonderful! I was in town visiting LSU as a potential graduate student and the location was perfect. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, and the staff was phenomenal! A special thanks to Peter who was so very kind and went the extra mile by recommending places to eat and even calling them to see if they had what I was looking for. My stay here was truly wonderful. Thank you.

The staff is wonderful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The pool area is great and quiet. Love the proximity to the LSU campus which was the purpose of our trip.

I would not stay here again. The bed was clean, but that was it. There were a couple of spots in the kitchen (the floor and the counter) that showed evidence of pizza or spaghetti sauce. The dispensers in the shower were not refilled. …

Worst housekeeping/cleaning service I have ever seen. “Clean” Towels constantly had hair in them. Room was never cleaned. Sheets barely ever changed and when they did change the sheets there were stains all over. Housekeeping just barges into your room. Annoying part is after you complain and complain they don’t fix anything and just redo the exact same thing you complained about .

Accidentally booked wrong dates, called 30 seconds later, and they refused to refund me the TWO ROOMS I accidentally booked. Thankfully Chase Bank understands there are scummy properties like this out there and refunded me. Trash Hotel

We just stayed here for the 2nd time! We come into town often and I refuse to book anywhere else in BR! Always friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, and you can even overlook the golf course if you’re lucky! They upgraded us to a king suite for this quick impromptu stay and it was immaculate.
